  Milk and Meat are poisoning people and destroying our health!

  i have read a dozen different health books that come to this same conclusion.

  what is milk?

  mammal infants require milk from their own species to grow quickly and start solid food.

  yes, so my children talking to mom i hear "no we dont go to meetings anymore" and i'm thinking "crap!!".

  so then the phone gets passed to me.. and my husband is of course out of town for this.

  i get asked point blank if we're witnesses anymore.. and i said "no we're not".

  oh, and I kept stressing to her that we still love her and feel the same no matter what, i told her hubby is your son and grandchildren are yours no matter what.... what you decide to do is up to YOU.

  Thats when she told me she cant talk to us anymore.

I get asked point blank if we're witnesses anymore.. and i said "no we're not". She asked if we're "worldly" cuz my daughter told her about a birthday party she went to (thank you daughter). I said we dont believe the witnesses anymore. She was obviously hysterical.. she knew her son, my husband had left a few months ago. Then she started acusing me of lying that i was in the truth at all a few months back when i was telling her about him leaving... she said that she can never trust him again because anyone that leaves is now a liar.

  This is the part i thought interesting and wondered if anyone has heard... I told her we're not DFed, she said "havn't you read the new book??? Leaving the truth and turning your back on Jehovah is WORSE than being DFed!!!! I'm not going to be able to talk to you anymore"

  Do you feel the love??????? I almost wonder if this includes the grandchildren. Now, her husband is catholic. and when my husband left catholisism to be a witness, his dad didn't like it, but treated him as he always had. But we leave mom's religion... and we're worse than vomit.

  She is one of the most absolute fanatical witnesses there are also, one of those , when you were a witness, you didn't want her to tell anyone she was cuz it was making us look bad. So i believe she's gonna take it as far as she can.. and REALLY ruin her marriage even more. You know how pissed Dad is gonna be when she shuns us to our face in her house????? oh geesh!

  We're due to go there for 4 days in 2 weeks.. family wedding where we get to tell everyone we're out of the cult! woohoo!!

  Misquotes from the "Reasoning Book" re: Cross (scans included)

  the "reasoning book" claims that the 1874 edition of the imperial bible dictionary verifies the idea that jesus was crucified on a stake.

  however, when you check the reference with the imperial bible dictionary, you see that it acutally is not as clear cut as that.. as usual, the infamous "..." of the watchtower has been used to edit out any opposing ideas in the source that they cite.. i know that this may have been mentioned before, but the scans of the imperial bible dictionary that are floating around the internet are from later editions, hence the page numbers are not those cited in the reasoning book.. .

  Wow. You know, all these people who say " I woulda said this" ... its hard to come up with that in a split second when you cant believe what is actually taking place!

  I finally had it happen to me, and before i could figure "this is really happening" it was over. I now could figure a hundred things to do and say.. but in the situation, i think you're totally off guard.. and actually they are the ones making themselves look crazy again... so let them look it!

  Final prep for 'bible' study tonite, topics Michael = Jesus and Generation

  please take a quick glance at the following as i am in final preparations for sitting in with my wife on her bs this evening...the sister is bringing along her husband, the po from the congregation to answer some of my questions.

  i know there will not be time to get to all of this, but is any of it extremely good or extremely worthless to ask.

  i need to remember to keep calm, respectful, and realize that i can not attack, there may be times when i need to ask for more time.

  I agree you have ALOT of info...

  If you decided to talk about when the FDS was "appointed" in 1918- it's quite interesting. ASK what were the witnesses teaching THEN that would show god at that time they were deserving of that appointment.....

  They wont know. Tell them you want to see in print. I went over this with my elders.. they had no clue. Everything we were teaching then you could be DFed for now. it was all incorrect, and if they see it, they'll know that.

  Second point with 1918 appt. is that they were NOT looking for it then, they believed it already happened years previous. They will say "thats not true" but again, if you look in publications, we believed jesus came... (someone here will know) i believe still 18something? Anyway, it's one of those things the elders dont even have a clue about. When i talked to my elders, at the time i was brushed up on the materials.. and they kept telling me i wasn't right. Then i looked at the WT publications, and I was the one who was correct.

  All of that info is located in "captives of a concept" book. they also have alot of those questions you listed in there. One you might have missed is "Would you be allowed to talk to an EXJW to find out why they left?" - they are NOT allowed. SO either, they'll say "no we cant" and then you can ask why, or they'll lie and say "sure we can, but i dont want to" and then you can call 'em on it.

  over the years i have posted many times, in many places that i was convinced there is an element working for the gb to chase posters away from ex jw sites by making life uncomfortable for them, even to get sites themselves to close down.. having seen many posters leave various sites, most of the sites give up and close down, it seems they are winning.. now this one, the premier site, is closing.. .

  but there is NO way they're winning.

  People are turning to the internet, to COLLEGE, to 'the world' in droves... people are becoming smarter and learning to question at an earlier age. People are and always will keep leaving cults. And that's all the Watchtower is... just another cult

  the only sad thing is we were vulnerable enough to fall for it.
